ANGEL Reese has spoken out for the first time since her Game 1 bust-up with Caitlin Clark.
The WNBA season has only just begun, but the rivalry between Clark and Reese is alive and well.
Reese took a foul from Clark and hit the ground, getting the foul upgraded to a flagrant.
Indiana Fever fans are alleged to have racially abused Reese after the foul, and Reese has now taken to social media for the first time this season.
She wore makeup and sported a black top with a bedazzled chain.
Reese didn’t speak in the clip, but had a Beyonce song playing in the background.
“You know you that b**** when you cause all this conversation,” Beyonce’s Formation lyrics say in the video.
“Always stay gracious, best revenge is your paper.”
While Clark has defended her foul on Reese, she is supportive of the WNBA’s probe into racist comments from fans.
“There’s no place for that in our game, there’s no place for that in society,” Clark said.
“Certainly, we want every person who comes into our arena — whether player or fan — to have a great experience.
“I appreciate the league doing that [investigation]. I appreciate that the Fever organization has been at the forefront of that.”
Fellow Fever star Aliyah Boston echoed a similar sentiment.
“No type of hate is ever welcomed here,” Boston said.
“As a player you just have to stay strong and be able to call it out if something happens.
“We, as athletes, have to make sure that fans know it’s OK to be passionate, to cheer us on, to get loud.
“But at the end of the day, it’s about respect. If it was your daughter out on the court, you would want that respect being shown.
