But many fans focused their attention on the expensive costs at the Lincoln Financial Field, home to the Philadelphia Eagles.

There were several options on offer for fans, from beer to win to water.

But many were shocked after learning the price of a can of beer was £12.30 ($16.50).

Wine is unsurprisingly more expensive at £11.50 ($15.50), with “mixed drinks” top of the list with a price of £13.79 ($18.50).

Even a bottle of water cost an eye-watering amount at £7.40 ($10) and the only snack on offer, peanuts, was £5.95 ($8.00).

Fans voiced their discontent with the astronomical prices, with some Americans joining in.

One reacted saying: “Nice and reasonable prices ”

Another added: “Tap water it is.”
