Beckham Family NOT Doing Reality TV Show, Despite Report

(Getty Images) David and Victoria Beckham are not working on a reality TV show about their family, despite a new tabloid report. Gossip Cop can exclusively correct the claim. We’re told it’s 100 percent untrue. According to OK!, Victoria wants to “invite cameras into her home again.” A so-called “insider” is quoted telling the magazine, “Victoria says Brand Beckham could use a major boost.” Since her four children are older now, maintains the publication’s supposed source, “A show can focus on the whole family, like ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians’ does.” “[Victoria’s] sure it would be a success,” contends the alleged tipster. The tabloid then notes how David is buying a Major League Soccer team in Miami, Victoria’s fashion label is turning 10 years old, and their son Brooklyn is dating Chloe Grace Moretz. Following the mentions of those widely reported things, the outlet’s questionable “insider” asserts, “They all have a lot going on… This would give them another paycheck and promote their projects at the same time.” “A secondary goal,” says the magazine’s source, is to “make the Beckhams more accessible.” “Victoria always wanted to be seen as royalty, but now she’d like to share more of her silly side. She’s telling the family she thinks they can make this a hit,” adds the publication’s “insider.” While it’s true the 2007 one-hour reality TV show, “Victoria Beckham: Coming To America,” wasn’t well-received, the fashion mogul has no interest in inviting “cameras into her home again.” There will be no series with her kids like “Keeping Up With The Kardashians.” The Beckhams are not looking to “promote their projects” or appear “more accessible” or even “silly.” A rep for the Beckhams exclusively assures Gossip Cop it’s all not true. The spokesperson says, “There are no plans to do a reality show.” We’re further told that Victoria prefers that “family private time [remains] behind closed doors.” OK! likes to run this phony narrative every few years. In 2016, Gossip Cop busted the tabloid when it similarly claimed the Beckhams were in talks for a family reality show. Interestingly, while the magazine touts how it could now be like “Keeping Up With The Kardashians,” back then the publication alleged David was hesitant about a reality series because “he’s seen what happens on the Kardashians’ shows” and was afraid it “could destroy their family life.” As we noted then, we weren’t surprised by the falsity of the report because it came from the same outlet that has wrongly stated for years that the Beckhams are splitting up. In fact, just four weeks ago, Gossip Cop again corrected the tabloid when it inaccurately maintained David and Victoria Beckham were headed for divorce.
