So far this year, Americans have been forced to contend with several disruptions due to federal holidays.

This includes Easter Sunday, Memorial Day and Juneteenth, the latter of which fell near the end of last month.

Now, the Fourth of July is around the corner, and marks one of the biggest holidays in the country.

Millions will be celebrating the iconic day, but those looking to use any bank will be out of luck.

Given that Independence Day is a federally recognized holiday, all bank branches will be closed.

This includes banks like Citibank, Wells Fargo, Bank of America and Chase.

You will not be able to go to a bank and speak to a teller for the entire 24 hour period.

As a result, you will be forced to work around the day.

Online banking services will still be up and running, but transactions may be delayed.

ATM machines will also be available.

      OTHER SERVICES DOWN

Other major services are also set to be impacted by the holiday, including at FedEx and the USPS

FedEx will shut down some of its core operations on July 4, including the FedEx Freight and FedEx Logistics offices.

You will still be able to access the general FedEx Office, but it will be running on modified hours.

It will limit the times during the day that you can speak to a FedEx employee.

      RETAIL HOURS

Massive retailers like Walmart and Target will not be impacted by the July 4 celebrations, and will remain open as normal.

Many others will also stay open as normal for the entire day, such as CVS, Kohl’s, Lowe’s and JCPenney.

Others like Dollar General and Albertsons will stay open, too.
