Dua Lipa and Her Sonny Angel Doll Are Really Into Challengers

On Saturday Night Live this weekend, Dua Lipa played a woman whose night takes a Challengers-inspired turn when her date (Marcello Hernández) can't help but notice the wall of hundreds of Sonny Angel dolls displayed in her apartment. After joking that the dolls, which boast the tagline "little boyfriends," are tough competition — she assures him that that isn't the case, only one of them is. As the Challengersscore begins to play, Hernández goes head to head with the doll played by Bowen Yang. "I'm part of the Sonny Angel's fruit series, and judging by the way you dress, you're a fruit too," he says, as Dua Lipa revels in the sparring before leaving them alone to grab a snack. "I'm back with churros…the most penis dessert," she says, "I sure hope it doesn't make you two act bicurious." When Lipa (in her Zendaya bob) has the two rivals kiss, it naturally results in Hernández turning into a Sonny Angel doll himself.
