MOTOR-MOUTH pundit Emmanuel Acho has sensationally claimed Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs could be waiting a long time for another ring.
Acho claims a decade-long Super Bowl drought could be in the pipeline for Mahomes and Chiefs despite them making the big game just months ago.
Speaking on FS1's The Facility the ex-linebacker turned shock-jock put Chiefs Kingdom on red alert, asking, "Has the Super Bowl drought for the Kansas City Chiefs started?."
Acho compared Mahomes to NFLroyalty Tom Brady, who won seven Super Bowls but went ten years between rings from 2005 to 2015.
He teased: "Patrick Mahomes has already won his three, are we in the midst of his 10-year hiatus?.”
He doubled down by blasting the Chiefs' roster, calling it a poor match against powerhouses like the Eagles and Ravens.
And warned the Bills and Chargers were coming for their crown.
Acho added: "Is everybody just afraid to say it?.”
Not everyone was buying it, though.
Will Blackmon, also on TheFacility, laughed off the doomsday prediction, reminding Acho the Chiefs just went to the Super Bowl and won 15 games last season.
He said: “Sure, the Chiefs could slip, sure, the dynasty might wobble.
“But a ten-year drought? Even Kansas City's harshest critics might think that's a step too far.”
Still in the cutthroat world of the NFL anything can happen and the only thing wilder than Acho's forecast is imagining Mahomes gunning for another Lombardi at age 39.
