FOX has reportedly handed new contracts to two of the biggest stars of the it’s NFL coverage.
The network has faced some uncertainty this summer with retirements and contracts ending.
Two of those who needed new deals were Erin Andrews and Charissa Thompson.
Andrews is part of the lead broadcast team with Kevin Burkhardt and Tom Brady.
Thompson, meanwhile, hosts Fox NFL Kickoff at 11 am ET before Fox NFL Sunday begins at midday ET.
The pair also host their own podcast named Calm Down with Erin and Charissa.
According to Front Office Sports, the pair have been given “lucrative contract extensions.”
Their future with Fox had never really been in doubt despite their contracts ending.
Both contributed to Fox’s record Super Bowl broadcast in February.
More than 127 million Americans tuned in to see the Philadelphia Eagles beat the Kansas City Chiefs in New Orleans, Louisiana.
“No, I'm not leaving Fox. I was never leaving Fox,” Thompson told Andrews on their podcast in April.
“I don't know where this took on a life of its own, where I was hosting my family at the ranch for the past weekend.
“Four of my family members asked, ‘Well, the place looks great. How are you going to afford it now that you don't have a job?’
“I'm not leaving FOX. I was never leaving FOX. I'm not fired.”
Andrews, meanwhile, featured in an event to launch the 2025 season.
She was on stage with commentator Tom Brady and also is in graphics.
Andrews and Thompson recently went on vacation together in the south of France.
Fox’s first NFL games in the 2025 season will be on Sunday 7 September.
The network has undergone some changes to flagship show Fox NFL Sunday.
Jimmy Johnson, 81, has announced his retirement from broadcasting.
A full-time replacement has yet to be named for Johnson.
But Rob Gronkowski is likely to see his role increase having been used to fill in during recent years.
