Sanders has now spent a few weeks in the Sunshine State, and has taken notice of how different the weather is compared to Colorado.

“It’s not really the heat, it’s the humidity,” he said.

“You walk out of the hotel and it’s literally you feel like you gotta take a shower.”

Despite the warmer weather, Sanders has taken a liking to his new home.

“Am I liking Tampa? I love Tampa,” he said.

“I’m not going to lie, Tampa actually is, like living here now, Tampa is one of the best places to live.”

Sanders is staying wary of the locals though, saying he was warned of bad drivers in the city.

“Now we got to be careful out here,” Sanders said.

“They said Tampa is number one rated for worst driving – is it in America, or just Florida?”

“I’ve been driving out here and I don’t see, like, it’s not that bad.

“But I don’t know… I’ve only been here for like a week and a half. So we’ll see more.”

Sanders hasn’t been in Tampa Bay long, but he is already making an impression on his coaches.

“Like the rest of the safeties, he’s very intelligent, he’s very loud,” Buccaneers head coach Todd Bowles told ESPN.

“You can hear him today, making calls and everything, so he has a good grasp of things Day 1.
