James Franco Will Return For 'The Deuce' Season Two Despite Misconduct Allegations

James Franco is returning for the second season of The Deuce, despite recent controversy. The 39-year-old actor was recently at the center of sexual misconduct allegations where five women accused him of "inappropriate" and sexually exploitative" behavior. According to the HBO show’s writer Megan Abbot, James will “of course” be a part of the cast. Last month, the show’s co-creator and executive producer David Simon also told Variety that there had never been any incidents on set. The Deuce chronicles New York City's adult entertainment industry in the ’70s. It has already been renewed for a second season.
