LOVE Island USA fans spotted a calculated move by Cierra Ortega after last night's confusing elimination twist.

Viewers saw the bottom three girls and boys put up for elimination after America voted for their favorite contestants.

Cierra Ortega made a telling move on Love Island last night
Her pal Olandria was left blindsided when she chose to save Taylor
The cast were in tears over the mass dumping
Olandria stood behind Austin, but he was sent home

The remaining islanders then had to step forward to save one boy and one girl, and the rest would be dumped from the island.

When it came time to vote, Cierra was the last to go and made the decisive move that left fans stunned.

She stood behind Taylor Williams, the boy who had recently dumped her best friend Olandria to pursue a connection with new bombshell Clark Carraway.

By choosing Taylor, Cierra saved him from elimination and left her best friend blindsided.

In a telling moment, the cameras cut to Olandria stunned reaction.

And fans were just as surprised, airing their opinions on social media.

They said they believed Cierra's move wasn't just surprising, but intentional.

"Cierra is weird for that… It was probably her version of revenge for Nic and Olandria kissing lol," one fan posted.

"This is Cierra's revenge for Olandria kissing Nic," another wrote.

"For some reason I feel like this is Cierra's 'get back' from Olandria & Nic kissing. It's just not sitting right…" added another.

Earlier in the season, Olandria had explored a connection with Nic, who Cierra is now coupled up with.

Although Cierra told the girls she was okay with Olandria kissing Nic outside of a challenge, fans weren't convinced.

What makes Cierra's decision even more controversial is that she had multiple options.

She could have voted for Andreina Santos, which would have caused a tie and potentially forced a group decision.

Another option would have been to save TJ Palma, who is currently in a relationship with Cierra's other close friend, Iris Kendall.

Olandria herself voted to save Austin Shepard, who she had also formed a bond with.

After playing Hate to Burst Your Bubble, Ariana literally burst the islanders bubbles by announcing an elimination.

America voted for their favorite girl and boy contestants, leaving the bottom three for each vulnerable.

Up for elimination was Andreina Santos, Gracyn Blackmore and Jaden Duggar for the girls, and TJ Palma, Austin Shepard and Taylor Williams for the boys.

The islander saved was Taylor, as Gracyn, Jaden, TJ, Austin and Andreina were sent home.

The mass elimination was heartbreaking, as Austin is an original cast member and Andreina has been on the show for weeks.

TJ was sent home despite being in one of the strongest couples with Iris Kendall.
