Naomi Ackie gets twice as much Robert Pattinson in a new scene from Mickey 17.

PEOPLE has an exclusive clip from the sci-fi film, which comes from Oscar-winning Parasite director Bong Joon-ho.

The film follows an unlikely hero named Mickey Barnes (Pattinson), who, per a synopsis, "has found himself in the extraordinary circumstance of working for an employer who demands the ultimate commitment to the job … to die, for a living."

Each time he dies, a new version of him is generated through a human-printing process, and back to a dangerous job he goes.

In this sneak peek, Ackie's character Nasha is in disbelief as she reacts to seeing two Mickeys, asking them to stand next to each other shirtless while writing a "17" and an "18" on their chests in lipstick.

"Nasha, how can you laugh right now? This is a multiples violation — I'm as good as dead," Pattinson says as a panicked Mickey 17 after Mickey 18 excitedly wrapped an arm around him.

"Oh, come on. When else am I gonna get the chance?" Nasha asks. "I mean, think about it: You would be so psyched if there were two of me. This is Mild Mickey. And this is Habanero Mickey. This is so exciting!"

At CinemaCon in Las Vegas in April 2024, Pattinson teased the film and expressed his excitement for playing "two very fun characters," according to Entertainment Weekly.
