BOSSES of a postal service have revealed that it will stop delivering packages to the US.

Officials warned its customers must be prepared to pay "exorbitant" fees when shipping items to America.

Bosses of Hong Kong Post have suspended delivery services by sea to the United States.

Deliveries by air will end on April 27, according to the company.

The drastic action is in response to Donald Trump’s tariff agenda.

Chiefs accused the US of imposing tariffs abusively and described its behavior as “bullying.”

The decision comes just days after Trump announced that tariffs on China now totaled 145%.

The US and China have been embroiled in a tit-for-tat trade war since Trump returned to office in January.

Trump first slapped tariffs worth 10% on Beijing in February and the levies have increased since.

Meanwhile, Chinese officials have put tariffs of 125% on American imports.

And, the president slapped a 120% tax on parcels worth less than $800 from Hong Kong.

That is set to come into force on May 2.
