On Saturday, Shaq made an appearance at Big Pod event in Las Vegas to discuss his business ventures.

Among his most recent investments was BeatBox, a company that Mark Cuban invested in on Shark Tank.

He spent $1 million in one of the largest deals in the history of the show.

Cuban learned of the drink on his show, and Shaq later found out about it at his DJing shows.

“I thought it was Capri Sun, and then I tried. I was like, ‘This is pretty good,'” O’Neal told PEOPLE.

Shaq said he had a call with Cuban to discuss the brand before he invested in it.

“I’ve always learned that in order to be great, you have to have conversations with other great people,” he said.

Shaq said he basically plays follow the leader with Cuban and his investments.

“Whenever Mark is investing in, I’m investing in,” he said.

“Mark could say, ‘Hey, I got a toilet tissue brand coming out.’ I’m doing it.
