TRAVIS KELCE has revealed how close he came to retirement.
It was Super Bowl heartbreak for the tight end back in February as the Kansas City Chiefs failed to make it a three-peat against the Philadelphia Eagles.

Rumors swirled for much of the season that Kelce, 35, was considering ending his career at the end of the last campaign.
But he has denied that retirement was ever on the cards.
He said in a press conference: “I love football, I don’t think I really thought about it [retiring] that much.
“My friends and family and the team, guys and women in this building, I love coming in to work every single day.
"It wasn’t a very tough one for me.
“I know I’m getting older, but at the same time, I still feel like I’ve got a lot that I can bring to this league.
"With that being said, it really wasn’t that hard of a decision for me.
“You want to let the emotions die down.
"That was the biggest thing, you don’t want to make decisions off the initial emotions.
“Once they died down, I still felt like I had that fire in my chest to be able to keep coming in and building and be better and chase another Super Bowl."

Kelce is entering the final year of his contract but has dropped a hint that he wants an extension with the Chiefs.
He said: “I got one year on this contract. We'll try and figure out something for next year.
“I can't see myself ever playing anywhere else."
Disappointment in the Super Bowl has fired up Kelce and his eyes are firmly set on clinching glory again.
He added: “I’m only interested in Super Bowl rings, I know what the AFC Championship means to this organization and the Hunt family.
“The 15 wins and everything is something special that I’ll let everybody else be happy with.
“Last year wasn’t a success for me and I’m motivated to make sure that we get that other ring this year.”
