Ukraine President Zelensky & Wife Olena Zelenska's 'Vogue' Story Gets Mixed Reactions on Social Media

Volodymyr Zelensky and Olena Zelenska are on the cover of Vogue, and it’s causing some controversy. The 44-year-old Ukrainian president and his 44-year-old wife appear on the cover of the digital edition of the magazine, including a featured profile called “Portrait of Bravery: Ukraine’s First Lady Olena Zelenska“ with photography by Annie Leibovitz. The feature includes several photos of the couple, including shots of them holding hands and posing in what appears to be the Mariinsky Palace in Kyiv, via TMZ. Social media’s response to the story and photo shoot is mixed, with some praising their using the platform to raise awareness of the ongoing war, while others have called it out as an insensitive vanity project amid ongoing violence in their country.
